Comerical or residential we can do it all. We produce Ready Mix concrete at our three batch plants locations and deliver in eight (8) to ten (10) yard rear discharge mixer trucks to construction sites. We can meet the special needs of contractors requiring a custom mix.

  Q. Is concrete the same as cement?

   A.  Let's explain the difference between cement and concrete. Cement which is a power like substance is mixed with aggregates and water to make concrete. Cement is to concrete as flour is to cake. 

  Q. How much concrete is used in the world?

   A.   Twice as much concrete is used than the total of all other building materials combined. Not surprising. Concrete has been around since the ancient Romans.

   Q. Is concrete more expensive that asphalt?

   A.  Although concrete is approximately 10% more expensive than asphalt, concrete typically has about twice the life span of asphalt. Concrete life is designed for 20 to 30 years making concrete very competitive to asphalt.

  Q. What type of concrete will I need?

  A. There are many different mix designs that are used for different projects. It is always a good idea to call and talk to one of our expert staff to see which mix design will best suit your needs for project.

Ready Mix concrete orders are in units of cubic yards. It must remain in motion until ready to be poured, or it may begin to harden. The ready mixed concrete is generally released from a series of spiral fins when the drum is reversed into a chute system. Workers use shovels, rakes, and special hoes called "come alongs" to push the concrete into place. When projects require more than one production run of ready mix concrete, we can dispach additional deliveries from the same truck or more trucks as needed.
